Privacy policy
This policy explains the information VertChecker processes to analyze videos, run accounts and payments, understand product usage, and provide support. Last updated July 21, 2026.
Video and analysis data
When you submit a video or supported video URL, VertChecker processes the media to detect a jump and create result artifacts such as an annotated clip and event images. A successfully analyzed raw upload is deleted after processing. Failed or incomplete uploads and derived result artifacts can remain for up to seven days, unless you delete the result sooner. Protected public demo media is retained as part of the site.
Account and payment data
Supabase provides authentication and account storage. VertChecker receives account identifiers and email addresses needed to sign you in, maintain credits, sync progress, and prevent abuse. Stripe processes purchases and subscriptions; VertChecker does not receive full payment-card numbers. If product-update email is enabled, account email addresses may be synchronized to Resend so messages and unsubscribe status can be managed.
Browser storage and analytics
The app uses local storage for settings, local jump history, in-progress actions, comparison profiles, and authentication state. When production analytics is enabled, PostHog receives page views, clicks, product events, device and network context, an opaque account identifier, and the signed-in email as a person property. Session recording is disabled. VertChecker does not intentionally send uploaded videos or jump-height result values to PostHog.
Sharing and service providers
Data is disclosed to infrastructure and service providers only as needed to operate the product, including hosting, Supabase, Stripe, PostHog, and Resend when enabled, or when required by law. Result links may be accessible to anyone who has the link during the retention window, so do not share a link you want to keep private.
Your choices
You can delete an analysis from its result screen, clear locally stored history in the app, sign out, and use browser controls to clear local storage. You may request access, correction, or deletion of account data by emailing hello@vertchecker.com. We may need to verify the account before acting on a request.
Children and changes
VertChecker is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child submitted personal data, contact us. Material policy changes will be posted here with a new update date.
