Built to make jump measurement inspectable
VertChecker is an independent browser-based vertical-jump analyzer. It was built for athletes who want a repeatable number from the phone already in their pocket, without hiding the measurement behind a black box.
What the product does
VertChecker tracks an athlete in a short video, proposes takeoff and landing, and converts flight time into jump height. Results expose the event frames, timing, trajectory, uncertainty, and quality warnings. Users can correct the events before treating a result as final.
Who publishes the content
The VertChecker project writes and maintains the product, guides, methodology, and reference pages. Technical claims are tied to the implemented pipeline or named external sources. The public example uses footage owned by the project and output generated by the real analyzer.
What we will not claim
VertChecker is not a force plate, a clinical device, or a substitute for independent validation. The physics method has published support; the automatic detector has not yet completed a published force-platform validation study. That distinction appears wherever accuracy matters.
